Download All Facebook Photos Mac

These steps are for saving every single photo. If there's a single album you want to download, or just a few pictures, these directions are a bit much. It's easy to save select pictures or albums instead; follow the steps at the bottom of this page for those directions.

To save your own Facebook videos, go to More > Videos > Your Videos and click the pencil icon. Choose the quality, and then click Download under the More menu. To download other people's Facebook videos, you'll need a third-party app.

You can grab your own, saved Facebook Live streams through the Your Videos page. For other people's, use an app like Friendly for Facebook, which gives you download options in the Share menu.

Downloading pictures from Facebook is a useful way to backup photos or monitor the social media habits of your children while you work. Since each picture contains a unique link, you can easily save individual photos to your Mac. To save more than one at a time, try downloading a program or install an extension for your browser. Programs like PhotoGrabber can save all photo albums published by a friend, while extensions like Download FB Album Mod can download all photos within a specific album.

Highlight the friend from your friends list. From the "I want to download" field, select "All tagged photos of the user," "Entire album if it contains a tagged photo," "Albums uploaded by the user," and "Comments and tagging information," depending on your needs.

If you have uploaded photos to your Facebook account, you might want to later import these images into iPhoto on your Mac. Facebook account members can upload photos from any computer when they sign in to their account. The images remain on Facebook's server, so you can view the photos from any computer. If you prefer to have a copy of your photos on your Mac, you can easily download them from Facebook and import them into iPhoto, the free photo management application that Apple installs on every Mac.

Click "Account" at the top of the page, and then click "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu. Click "Download a Copy of Your Facebook Data." This causes Facebook to create a zip file of all your uploaded material, including text, videos and photos. You cannot pick and choose what goes in to the zip file.

Click the "Download" button, and then click "Download" once more in the "Request My Download" window. Facebook sends an email to the address you have on file with Facebook, letting you know when the zip file is available for you to download.

Click "File," and then click "Import to Library." A dialog box appears. Click the Facebook photos folder that you unzipped in the downloads folder, and then click "Import." The Facebook photos import into iPhoto.

I really like odrive. The app is well designed with friendly user interfaces. You can use it to sync with many other apps besides Facebook. And it also allows you to backup, view, and organize Facebook photos on computers and mobile devices.

@Narayanan Hariharan: Have you found a solution to this? I am under some time constraints where I need to download photos from a Facebook group which are not part of an album. A few of the other solutions posted here cost a monthly subscription. It is not something I need to do on a regular basis, but a current project I only need to obtain photos for this one time. Thank you in advance for any assistance on this! Time is of the essence!

If I am a business owner with multiple stores that have individual pages that I manage under business manager how do I download a copy of all the photos and videos across say 50+ Facebook pages, content that is uploaded by the different store mangers but is still essentially owned by the business.

This is really helpful in scaling down the options. However, I would like to download the comments I had next to the photos as well. Which one would you recommend? I have 601 photos in that particular album. Thank you JP.

Photos emphasizes the best shots in your library, hiding duplicates, receipts, and screenshots. Days, Months, and Years views organize your photos by when they were taken. Your best shots are highlighted with larger previews, and Live Photos and videos play automatically, bringing your library to life. Photos also highlights important moments like birthdays, anniversaries, and trips in the Months and Years views. 2ff7e9595c
